Clear Separation of Unit Tests, UI Automation, and Manual Testing

🏝 Roadmap

We’re exploring ways to better separate Unit Tests, UI Automation, and Manual Testing to provide clearer insights. Currently, all test runs include both manual and automated test cases, making it harder to analyze results effectively.

Some possible ideas:

  • Separate reporting and insights for each type of test.
  • Better filtering and categorization in test runs.
  • Custom workflows for each test type (e.g., different review or approval processes).
  • More meaningful pass/fail trends based on test type.

We’d love to hear your thoughts! How would you like to see automation and manual tests separated? Vote and share your ideas!

It would be really helpful if the reports included a metric showing the percentage of automated tests (marked as β€˜A’) relative to the total, as this would provide a clear understanding of our current automation coverage.
Thank you for considering this suggestion.
