New Feature: TestRail Importer – Seamless Test Case Migration

We're making it easier to migrate from TestRail to TestQuality!

Our new TestRail Importer allows you to directly connect to TestRail via API, eliminating the need for manual XML exports and streamlining your test case migration.

Key Features:

✅ Direct Connection – Authenticate with your TestRail instance using your URL, email, and API key.
✅ Project Selection – Choose the projects you want to import effortlessly.
✅ Comprehensive Import – Migrate test cases, sections, milestones, runs, results, priorities, configurations, and users.
✅ Automated Data Transfer – No more exporting and importing XML files manually.

How It Works:

1️⃣ Connect your TestRail instance by entering your credentials.
2️⃣ Select a project from the list of available ones in TestRail.
3️⃣ Start the import – TestQuality will automatically map and migrate your test data.
4️⃣ Review & finalize – Once the import is complete, your data will be ready inside TestQuality.

Limitations & Considerations:

• Linked Issues from TestRail will be imported as plain text but won’t automatically link to external tools.
• Some TestRail fields, like Bdd, Dataset, Shared Steps, and Templates, are currently not supported.
